Glamour Magazine, long considered the most profitable franchise in the Condé Nast kingdom, needed brand elevation and refocus. I was incredibly honored to be brought on board by Condé Nast International for what turned out to be a life changing experience.

ASSIGNMENT: Create a brand turnaround for the magazine and website by elevating the look and feel with a new target age group, 20–35 year-old women, in order to attract luxury advertising. 

CHALLENGE: To deliver and publish a completely reconceived magazine and website in just 8 weeks while working in another country while I didn’t speak Italian.

Glamour Italia was completely redesigned in one month under Carla’s creative direction. Tiny team, long hours, hectic schedule. She came as fresh breeze into our Milanese torrid summer, and suddenly everything and everyone fit seamlessly into place, with style and consistency, and with just that “little touch” of unexpected that turned a job task into a special life experience.
